About the Czech Trail
If you dream of crossing the Czech Republic from west to east or even completing a full loop along the borders, this map will show you the way. The Czech Trail is an adventure that will lead you through the most beautiful places in our country - from mountain ridges and forests to meadows, small villages, and historic towns.
On the map below, you will find both main routes:
• The Northern Trail (often chosen for its mountainous sections - Ore Mountains, Bohemian Switzerland, Jizera Mountains, Giant Mountains, Jeseníky, Beskydy, and other ranges in northern Czechia)
• The Southern Trail (leads through lower altitudes and picturesque regions - South Moravia, Vysočina, Bohemian Forest, and other southwestern and southern parts of the Czech Republic)
The trail does not have its own unique markers but follows the classic KČT (Czech Hiking Club) signs. A map, good preparation, and a spirit of adventure will be your best guides. Whether you decide to hike the entire loop or split the route into individual stages, every section offers something unique.
I recommend using the EPP "Help by Moving" app during your Czech Trail expedition. With it, you can easily track your movements and routes while supporting a good cause. Every step you take can be turned into support for projects focused on health and an active lifestyle. Hit the Czech Trail with EPP and stay active for yourself and for others! ↗
