Site Updates!
Dear readers and Instagram followers,
You have surely noticed that my website has undergone a major change. This time, I decided to focus more on it and offer you content that is comfortably accessible even on mobile phones. I hope you enjoy the new look—it's more modern, clearer, and hopefully won't strain your eyes in the evening. Let's take a look together at what has changed.
New Look and Functionality
My previous site wasn't exactly comfortable for mobile reading, and my statistics and recommendations alerted me that it was time to modernize the design and adapt it for mobile devices. When the site was unavailable one day, I decided to start a complete overhaul from scratch. Don't worry, all original articles have been migrated and are still available. I'm still getting familiar with the new settings, but it's nothing complicated. I hope I managed to balance the colors so they match the theme and don't "burn" your eyes at night.
More Articles and Personal Content
I want to focus more now on posting articles and catching up on those I haven't published yet. Previously, I focused mainly on Instagram, but a blog allows more space for text, detailed descriptions, and experiences from my hikes. Don't worry, you won't lose out on Instagram; even though winter and rainy days are approaching, new content is waiting for you. I will try to bring you interesting stories from nature, hikes, and sometimes technical tips as well. I want to gradually expand content from Instagram to the blog, and I trust it won't be a bother.
Thanks to You and the Most Popular Post
I would like to thank you all; thanks to you, we have surpassed 540 followers. I truly appreciate your support—every like and share motivates me. Practically speaking, Instagram is my public photo diary, while the blog will be more focused on the written side and deeper sharing of experiences. So far, the following post has gained the most views, which I'm sharing with you here:
I would also like to ask something of my followers; I know many of you write to me in DMs, and there are truly a lot of them. I apologize if some messages get lost in spam or if I don't manage to respond. Occasionally, messages from strange people appear, such as offers to buy followers or stories about an inheritance from an alleged African grandfather, even though I'm not African. I really try to answer everyone, but it's not possible to handle every single message. I had to tell you this so you won't be upset with me. One of my original followers even got angry because I didn't reply—his message got buried at the very bottom—and he eventually blocked me. If he's reading this, I apologize and hope he understands. With this article, I am essentially starting my personal approach to you, sharing not only photos but also thoughts, experiences, and insights.
What's New on the Site
I've created this new look so that the latest article is accessible right on the main page, with a search by topic at the top and labels on the left. For users with smaller monitors, a hamburger menu will appear, which needs to be clicked to expand; it works similarly on tablets and mobile phones. In the left panel, I will try to keep only the most important items for easy searching. The change isn't just visual; it's also about content. I want to run the blog as a personal journal, where I describe individual trips from my perspective and with my enthusiasm. Hiking, creating, technology—these are my hobbies, and I want to share them with you in my personal style.
In Conclusion
I wish you a pleasant rest of your Saturday evening and thank you once again for your trust. By following me on Instagram and giving me hearts, you show your support, and that really means a lot to me. I'll be happy to see the community around the blog and Instagram grow. I believe my blog will become a pleasant place for you to relax, find inspiration, and maybe even be motivated to start your own exploration of nature and interesting places.
Thank you for being here with me, and I look forward to our next shared experiences!
